Infancy and toddlerhood are critical stages that require close observation, as development depends heavily on caregiver quality. This study examines Akihiro’s attachment styles toward his mother and other caregivers through interviews and recordings with his mother, Diane, and additional caregivers. Transcriptions were analyzed to compare Akihiro’s behavior with each. Results show a secure attachment to his mother and an ambivalent attachment to others. These findings highlight the importance of tailoring caregiving approaches to a child’s specific needs to foster healthy development.
